My version of osu!lazer was updated today and I have things to say :3

They will be short things with not a lot of substance, basically a list lol :3

I think a star rating selector being added to the search/sort area was a really good addition. The old way of doing it (e.g. "stars<7") was not explained in-game, so I think people will use it more now that there's an easy slider instead. It probably won't be used a lot in the way that something like sorting by newest but having it be visible is a good change imo.

The actual song select part of the song select has been given a really nice visual upgrade. Each difficulty now has a colour that corresponds with the star rating, it's a simple change but makes the difficulty selector a bit more fun to look at. The only problem I have is the text being a bit too small.

What I call the "general information section" (the stuff above the leaderboard) got a big improvement, the text doesn't overflow into the bars anymore and is below the bars, the bars themselves aren't just floating below everything else and match the colour of the difficulty, because of this it's much easier to quickly read the information of the beatmap.

I have even less to say about the new leaderboard and how mods are now displayed but they're just general improvements again. The leaderboard has a "stair step" effect, it just looks nice. Mods are now displayed above the "mods" tab alongside "unranked" if you chose something like autoplay. Just good stuff lol :3

Anyway, this was just a quick thing I haven't put much thought into. I'm also very tired and need sleep lol :3
